MRDFITS: ERROR - Extension past EOF
症状
IDLのmrdfitsをしたいときのエラー状況
image=mrdfits('image.fits',1,h)解決策
1→0に変えたらエラーが出なくなって、fits読み込めた。追記
fitsは階層構造になっていて、0にimageが入っていたり、空だったり、1にimageが入っていたり、
2にrmsマップが入っていたり云々するみたい。
読み込む階層を指定してるらしい。

Python2.7を使っていて出たエラー。 TypeError: ufunc 'bitwise_xor' not supported for the input types, and the inputs could not be safely coerced to any supported types according to the casting rule ''safe'' Nを2乗するときに、 最近RとPythonを行き来していたので、 N**2 とすべきところを N^2 としていたのが原因でした。 Rとぐちゃぐちゃになっていました。 エラーメッセージの原因が全部**と^の間違いとは限らないけれど 確認してみてください。
